Vision and Mission

Vision and Mission

Our Vision

Our vision is to share the heart of God and walk as Jesus did while on this earth. Jesus walked with and served the rejected, the marginalized and the poor bringing the good news of the gospel to them, meeting their spiritual and physical needs. Therefore, we are called to do the same.

Our mission is to touch our families, communities and beyond with the love of God, loving and accepting them as we serve and meet their spiritual, emotional and physical needs so that they may be whole.

We Believe in…

  • A lifestyle of worship – The Lord Jesus taught us that it doesn’t matter where we are gathered. If we worship in spirit and in truth we will attract heaven on earth. Therefore, we believe that when we encamp around the presence of God in worship, His Spirit will manifest with joy, peace, signs, miracles and healings. (John 4:23-24)

  • Loving and welcoming all – In everything we do, our goal is to provide an atmosphere that is welcoming and loving where each person feels accepted and loved just as they are. Each person is important to God therefore they are important to us. (James 2:1-4)

  • Honoring all – We honor the image of God in each person. We accept and honor all people from all walks of life, no matter their background or choices. We believe God has called us to love all people.

  • A supernatural lifestyle – We believe that one of the ways God visits us supernaturally is through personal prophecy. The Bible teaches that one of the priorities of the church in each gathering is for every person have the opportunity to receive and give a prophetic word as long as it is done with the heart of God to encourage, comfort, edify. We also believe that the when the gospel is demonstrated through signs, wonders and miracles instead of persuasive arguments it has greater power to bring transformation. For that reason we equip the church to not only believe they can receive a miracle but also that they can do a miracle in the life of another. (1 Corinthians 14:1-5; 24-25,Luke 9:1-2; Mark 16:17)

  • Freedom - We believe that Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross has provided for us to be completely free. Therefore, the Lord commands us to love and serve one another, respecting the convictions and freedoms of our brothers and sisters in Christ without dishonoring, condemning and judging. (Romans 14) In addition, God has called us to live motivated by love and not by the expectations and standards of others which causes us to feel enslaved and oppressed. (Galatians 5:1)

  • Grace – The grace of God gives us the opportunity to make mistakes even while we are serving and to be allowed to be treated with patience, consideration and love. Therefore in every situation in which we find ourselves it is indispensable to respond with authentic grace to strengthen our relationships. (Phillipians 2:3-4)

  • Teamwork – we believe that the church is a living body and that each member can develop their abilities, talents and gifts when they fit into their function. In addition, serving in a team is fun. We will laugh hard and often. (1 Corithians 12)

  • Serving – We serve God and one another out of love and passion not out of obligation or fear. We serve with gratitude because we are already accepted by God, not to be accepted by Him. Therefore we give the best of ourselves in everything we do because Jesus gave everything when He gave His life for us. Excellence honors God and inspires people. (Colossians 3:23-24)

  • Leaving a legacy – A legacy is an inheritance that we pass on to the next generation and increases as it is passed along. This applies to our children in the natural as well as to our spiritual children. We believe that as we pass on what we’ve learned and what we’ve received from God, it prepares the following generations to see greater things. (Psalm 78:4; Deut. 6:5-7; 2 Timothy 2:2)
